Not as bad as we might have feared.
This first attempt by Omnigonix is not quite the disaster we have been led to believe by various naysayers. And some of the better third party companies had unfortunate first attempts.
Yes Spinout has its problems (and that is a larger than desired plural) but it does look good in both modes and mine is sturdy enough that it has not broken or otherwise fallen apart. There is a lot of soft plastic and this we are forced to twist and force during transformation, the hip joints are loose enough that it takes patience to set a pose that doesn't do the splits and the lack of heel spurs mean that the model does have a habit of pivoting on one foot as the wheels protrude under the feet.
But be patient and you can get some good action poses out of the robot mode: mine has reached for a quadruple U sword strapped to its back; decapitated the same and then held a triumphant pose afterwards.
Scaling is good and the Lamborghini mode definitely looks better than the BadCube variant.
In a nutshell- Looks good in poses but not great to handle in between.
So decide for yourselves what is more important- playability or appearance (we all know which one Sunstreaker would choose!)
